Nepali Sel Roti

  • Soak about 1 kilo of rice the day before. Next morning, throw away the water and clean the soaked rice. 
  • Grind it to a coarse flour in the mixer-grinder. 
  • Mix the flour with ghee, sugar, a pinch of black pepper powder, and clove and cardamom powder.  
  • Then knead the dough with some water and a little bit of milk. Let it rest for some time. 
  • Fry the dough carefully in sunflower oil. Be careful so that your hand does not burn. Do prepare some Sel Roti and eat, my dear.
