Das Völkerkundemuseum ist auch ein Ort der Debatten. Ab Januar 2025 laden wir gemeinsam mit dem Verein gegen Müdigkeit an ausgewählten Bar-Abenden zu Gesprächen ein, wie sie nur an der Theke stattfinden. Mit unterschiedlichen Barkeeper*innen aus Stadt und Gesellschaft rücken hier kultur- und gesellschaftspolitische Fragestellungen in den Fokus.

Since 2020, Heidelberg Holi has grown into a beloved tradition, uniting people from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of joy, color, and community.

Over the past three years, we have welcomed hundreds of attendees who have joined us to embrace the festival’s message of unity, inclusion, and diversity. Each year, the event has grown in scale and significance, becoming a highlight of Heidelberg's cultural calendar.

This year, Heidelberg Holi 2025 is especially meaningful. For the first time, the event is part of the International Week Against Racism, supported by the Intercultural Center Heidelberg. It is not just a celebration but also a platform to promote equality and stand against racism, making it a day to remember.

Hosted at the renowned Völkerkundemuseum Heidelberg, known for its rich collection of art and culture from Asia, Africa, and Oceania, this year’s Holi offers an even more vibrant and meaningful experience. The museum provides a perfect setting to reflect the spirit of Holi while celebrating cultural diversity.

Dort der junge Mann, der tagtäglich Menschen hinrichtet und dessen „Sehnsucht wächst und wächst“ nach den Lieben zuhause. Das gleiche Empfinden kann unterschiedlicher nicht sein. Sind es solche Abgründe, die das Böse banal erscheinen lassen?
